This sculpture has a long body with rough skin. There are two lobes or stubby appendages hanging down from the back with an umbilicus between them, and short tentacles springing from its back.

This was one of my earliest explorations with welded steel. It was made with a couple of starter pieces of metal to help give it a symmetrical shape, but the rest of it was made from scraps of steel at the bottom of the welding table.
